I've always loved Mathew West and his amazing ability to write songs like Strong Enough and Forgiven. His latest song, Hello My Name Is, is a song anyone journeying through recovery or trying to balance a wounded heart needs to hear. This song is based on a true story of young man named Jordan.
"HELLO MY NAME IS, is a song inspired by Jordan. When he shared his story with Matthew it started off with a simple statement: “Hello, my name is Jordan and I am a drug addict” That was the first sentence of this young man’s story that he sent to me. The story ended with how he introduces himself TODAY. “Hello, My name is Jordan and I’m a child of the one true King!”

What an inspiration to come to an understanding we have been set free! We do not have to rise up and declare, "Hello my name is (insert what you've been struggling with). We can rise up and declare, "Hello my name is child of the One True King - And I have been set free!" Praise God for his deliverance.
