A Most Unusual Moment

"Pharaoh and all of his officials and all the Egyptians got up during the night, and there was loud wailing in Egypt, for there was not a house without someone dead." Exodus 12:30

"There was not a house without someone dead." If you have ever lost a loved one you can understand the pain that comes with the loss. If the loss is unexpected the pain is not lessened - only different. When sudden loss occurs we do not have those moments to say good bye - we do not have those moments to prepare ourselves for the passing - we do not have those moments to share those deep seeded words we have longed to share - no when the passing is sudden and unexpected - there is deep wailing.

Imagine this very moment - this very unusual moment in Egypt. This was something that had never happened before this night or ever would again.

"There will be loud wailing throughout Egypt - worse than there has ever been or ever will be again." Ex: 11:6

The question is, "Can God work through those unusual moments we face and stumble upon?"

"How did God work those this unusual and horrific moment with the Egyptians and the Israelites?

God did work through it all - he did speak - he did teach - he did reveal himself through such a time as this.

Tune in tomorrow to find out how -
